THE END OF The Daleks' Master Plan | Longest Doctor Who Series EVER! When Who Was Good W/SpartaC

Doctor Who: The Daleks’ Master Plan – Watch & Review Join us as we dive into one of the most ambitious (and longest) adventures of the First Doctor era! In this 12-part classic serial from Season 3 (broadcast November 1965–January 1966), William Hartnell’s Doctor, along with companions Steven Taylor (Peter Purves) and Katarina (Adrienne Hill), lands on the planet Kembel and uncovers a vast Dalek plot. The Daleks have forged an alliance with various galactic powers and, with the help of the treacherous Guardian of the Solar System Mavic Chen, are preparing to deploy a terrifying weapon known as the Time Destructor. What follows is an epic, galaxy-spanning chase filled with danger, intrigue, new allies (including early appearances by future series regulars), and high stakes. Written by Terry Nation and Dennis Spooner and directed by Douglas Camfield, The Daleks’ Master Plan is a landmark story — the longest continuous narrative in the series at the time, featuring the first companion deaths in Doctor Who history, a memorable Christmas interlude, and the return of an old foe. Note that several episodes are missing from the archives (only a handful survive fully), so this review covers the available material and reconstructions. In this video I’ll be watching through the story and sharing my thoughts on the pacing, performances, production, Dalek menace, and how it holds up today as a classic-era epic. If you enjoy classic Doctor Who reviews, deep dives into Hartnell-era stories, or Dalek adventures, this one’s for you! 👍 Like if you love the First Doctor 💬 Comment with your thoughts on The Daleks’ Master Plan or which classic serial I should tackle next 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell for more Doctor Who watch-alongs and reviews #DoctorWho #ClassicDoctorWho #FirstDoctor #WilliamHartnell #Daleks #TheDaleksMasterPlan #DoctorWhoReview #Whovian #BBC
